Milk blebs 3 weeks after stopping bf?

I stopped bf my 17 month old about 3 weeks ago - we'd been down to just a morning feed before that.

Today I noticed my nipples looked dry (haha don't normally get time for much nipple scrutiny but they were in my line of vision). On closer inspection both nipples were covered in milk blebs / plugged ducts.

I've had no major pain nor signs of mastitis since stopping, but there was a reasonable amount of (sorry) nipple cheese in one ducts, an that nipple was a bit swollen over that duct. I've gently squeezed out that cuts and cleared some of he blebs, plus rubbed expressed milk onto nips.

Anyone able to give me any advice - eg is this normal on stopping / will it settle over time? Or do I need to keep clearing them? Can't find any info on kellymom or lll website.

Tia!
