Rejecting Expressed BF - teat recommendations?

ellenrose · 08/05/2006 16:28

Hi - my 15wk dd has been exclusively bf, but have been expressing for a while now to give dh a chance to do some feeds. Went well initially, no problems at all, however, didn't use bottle for a few days and now she is not interested in having the teat in her mouth regardless of how hungry she is. I have been using Avent but are there any recommendations for any others that might encourage her to carry on with the bottle or should I persevere? Any thoughts would be appreciated Smile

I find Nuk good...hard to get hold of but fit in avent bottles.

I have used Mam teats (they also fit avent bottles)

Nuk was my ds favourite

MAM ultivent is the only one my stubborn ds2 would take

mam teats are good

Have just brought two of the new tommee tipee closer to nature bottles for ds4( he has sn and problems sucking). They are breast shaped and have a soft teat with a valve and we have had great success with them

Just wanted to say thanks - bought one of all recommendations (such was my desperation) and tried the NUK one first last night - success Grin

Will be trying the others as well but thanks to all Smile
