Has anyone done dreamfeeds?

DD is now 4 months old and used to sleep through every night from 6-10 weeks but since then has been waking up 1-3 times a night. So I was wondering if I should maybe feed her before I go to bed so she can sleep through again? She used to sleep 10-8 when she was younger but now is asleep by 7. Breastfed by the way. Any advice/experience?

I am bottle feeding but I am dream feeding. Dd2 did the same as yours and slept through for a few weeks then started waking in the night so now she goes to bed at 7, dream feed at 10ish then asleep until 7ish.

We dream fed DD until about 4 months when we phased it out and she never noticed. We were bottle feedibg and used to give the dream feed around midnight, largely because she slept for long periods of time from an early age and this meant we could have a 6 hour stretch of sleep from 12-6.

I dreamfed DS usually between ten and eleven. Expressed milk and fed from the bottle. It was fantastic, will definitely do it again this time round but from a much earlier age. Only wish I'd known about it earlier.
Good luck

I dream feed ds, bf 16 weeks). Means he does his longer stretch just as I go to be rather than when he goes to bed at 7.

Envy At your dc sleeping through so early even if it was only for a few weeks!

I am still dream feeding my 81/2 month old. My husband picks him up out of his cot and bring him thought to our room for me to BF him, both sides, then I pop him back into his cot. We do this about 11 o'clock and that is him til 6 when hubby gets up for work. If he is awake, then I will change him too, but usually we just lift, feed, back to bed without a peep from little hawk.
