Deep pulling pain whilst bf

There's no redness or hot lumps so I don't think I'm developing mastitis but I'm fed up with the pain.

My dd is 6 months and has just started blw. She's dropped a feed here and there but is still taking lots of milk on board. However, I've recently began to experience a deep painful pulling sensation whilst feeding. It feels like my chest wall behind my breast is being pulled towards my nipple and it makes me gasp.

Any ideas or will it have to be a trip to the Dr. ?

Check your position as it could be nerve pain. I had this when I was lazy about my body position, a few tweaks stopped slouching and it went

Does sound like thrush to me

My mastitis started with pain first, then red, then flu like symptoms

Thank you. Will contact GP, have been hoping it'd go away but it hasn't :( DD doesn't seem to be showing signs of thrush but has a stinking cold!

I have similar (DS 8 months) and have been using candestan for thrush. However, yesterday I noticed 2 visible bite marks/ holes from his new top teeth. I'm pretty sure that's where the pain is coming from! I'm trying different positions and it's beginning to improve.
