Periods started and vanished

Ds is 10mo and bf (about 5 feeds per day). I had two periods (restarting just after we started weaning) but haven't had one for 2 months. Is this due to bf in which car long may it continue our should I go to my gp because its a worrying symptom of something (and yrs I have poas. Many times, i'm not pregnant.)

I have had a similar experience with both my DC. I don't really worry about it as I'm not that keen to have my periods back! DC2 is 9 months and for the last couple of months I have had a very small bleed. With DC1 I had a period after about 12 weeks and then nothing for a year! Dunno why it happens but unless there are other reasons to worry then I wouldn't iyswim :)
