Yep, check for mastitis but for me I just had regular old flu so you have my sympathies.I think the flu this year has been an especially virulent strain. I don't normally get it but it just wiped me out and loads of people I know too.

You need:

  • paracetamol
  • saline nose spray & Vicks
  • lemons (to make homemade hot toddy)
  • lots of fluids
  • as much help as you can get ie. DP bringing for feeds only for the afternoon. If not, just duvet up on the sofa and continue to co-sleep that's what I did. My DD is 6 months and I had no qualms putting CBeebies on for a bit whilst I lay on the sofa.

Get well soon! Brew

Thanks loislane. Had a lie in the morning. Taking vitamin c and paracetemol..i don't think it is mastitis. My dh had really bad chest infection on two lots of antibiotics so I may be getting the same although no temperature. My ds is 18 weeks he has a runny nose and cough, gp said it was teething, he just had a fit of coughing there, lots of spit and mucuos came up..exhausted
