Pain on feeding - 7 month old

What might this be? I think it's probably him just getting used to the current crop of teeth - 4 new ones in the last week. It's painful (mild-moderate, not excruciating like I've previously found thrush to be) all through the feed, on both sides. No pain at all between feeds. It's been a week or so, I think.

When my DD's teeth came through it affected her latch

A bit of tweaking on her positioning helped

Thanks, Ruby. I don't really know how to reposition him though. He's a creature of habit and likes to be held the same for every feed. Getting a bit long for a cradle hold though, so I'll have to try something else.

For me, it was a case of literally moving her head slightly as I held her to feed

I used my arm to raise her if that makes sense

I did find that when she got older and continued to feed her latch wasn't so obviously affected

Just seemed to be the first few

I now think it is thrush. Ow. No symptoms in DS though.
