6 month old EBF having v short feeds?

My DS is 6 months and feeding every 2.5-3 hrs but only for 3-5 mins. Does this sound normal.

He's been doing it for about a week.

My DS was like that at 6 months for day feeds. Longer at night though. Now that he is well established on solids he really has no interest in BF except for first thing in morning and just before he goes to sleep.

Thanks giraffe, we start weaning tomorrow. I'm just staggered how short his feeds are!

I had the same, I began weaning DD at 6 months and DS at 5 months...
