My ds is 14 weeks and thriving!
I have struggled to poo since he was born and have been prescribed lactulose by the doctors which helps a little, I felt I was doing better and my lactulose supply has dried up :-/ and I'm back to my difficulties
Has anyone else suffered like this?
Please share with me any advice while I wait for another repeat prescription

Awake - you could try posting this in Health....you'll get more answers.

Why not go back to your doc and explain you are still having problems?

Hi awake poor you. I was very constipated pp and was also on lactulose. The old cliche of prune juice really does help, as well as making sure you are drinking enough if bf. Basically drink lots... And then some more.

Exercise if you can, making sure you focus on your stomach to help your intestines & bowel do their job. Dried fruit such a apricot is also good. Personally I found fibre made me worse.

Hope that helps... Definitely make sure your GP gives you sufficient to see you through.

You can buy it over the counter very cheaply no need for prescription. I found fybogel was good aswell as prune juice. Also linseeds are supposed to be very good. I tried them all throughout pregnancy!
