Re-starting Breastfeeding

Just a random thought & not necessarily something I'm really considering but I was wondering if it was possible to go back to breastfeeding an older child after having another. I stopped bfing DS1 when he was 8 months & he'll be 19 months when DS2 arrives. Has anyone gone back to breastfeeding & if so, why/how did you do it?

Yes, it is certainly possible, jojo but to be honest it's not common - I have come across mothers who have tried it, often in response to the toddler asking to have a turn :) The toddler may have forgotten the sucking/swallowing action needed, and mothers will say they just 'mess about' rather than actually getting any milk. But have a go, why not? :)
