Currently trying to persuade DS to take a bottle of formula. He's 8mo and will now accept ebm in a bottle (whereas before he wouldn't even acknowledge it so we are making some progress) but flatly refuses any kind of formula.
I saw a suggestion to mix expressed milk with formula - make the formula up first to make sure the powder:water ratio is correct and to then add the breast milk. Is this really OK to do? Is it likely to make formula more appealing to DS or will it be a waste of expressed milk as well as formula which ends up being poured down the sink.
All the rules/guidance surrounding formula scares me slightly. I'm really not sure what I'm doing.
