just tucking into some bhajis which are actually quite spicy....just thought may the spices and/or onions disagree with baby?
what feeds would be effected? In an hour/a few hours/tomorrow/not at all?

Nah, scoff away! I love onion bhajis Grin

There are lots of old wives' tales about foods to avoid but there's no evidence that spicy foods or onions will affect your baby and there are no foods that you need to avoid when breastfeeding. Some people do say babies react to spicy food but a lot of the time it's coincidence. More info here. Enjoy your bhajis!

They won't affect your breast milk at all. The only things that are passed in breast milk are those that are passed on in your blood stream e.g. medication.

Enjoy your bhajis!

Scoff away. I eat loads of spicy food and DD has never noticed.

Though she's not keen on it herself. Sigh.

Lostonthemoors even alcohol and caffeine don't matter that much.
