my ds is 6 1/2 months old and i am about to buy 6 month plus teats, he has been using 3 month + up until now. just wondered is anyone had opinions on keeping teats for second baby (planned for next year) or should i throw them away? i think i should throw them away but just wanna be sure as you know how expensive they are.

thanks

Definitely keep them

keep them unless they are split. You sterilise them any way so it makes no difference if they are new or not.

don't tell anyone, but my DS 3.5 still has a bottle at night, and I'm using the same teats as when he was 6 months old!

Keep them and just check them nearer the time - latex particularly may deteriorate. I reused the Avent ones from ds for dd 3 1/2 years later.

I would throw them away personally. I would reuse the bottles but buy new teats. You are advised to change them every few months for 'hygiene reasons' anyway.

'hygiene reasons' just seems to be a way for the manufacturers to make more money
