I've just stopped bf'ing after a year as I am going back to work. I'm keen to get sorted with my work clothes but will need new bras. Do any of you know how long it might take for my boobs to return to normal size? Thanks.

Not sure normal will be the same as before iyswim? I would go to M&S and ask for a new fitting.

SorrelForbes · 21/01/2013 23:54

No, no, please do not go to M&S. Their fitting service is appallingly outdated and results in women walking around in uncomfortable, illl fitting bras. Try Bravissimo, Debenhams, John Lewis or a good independent.

MotherOfNations · 21/01/2013 23:56

Whatever you do don't get fitted at M&S. They do that stupid add 4 inches thing. Bravissimo is your best bet if you're D cup or above. John Lewis and Debenhams aren't too bad either.

MotherOfNations · 21/01/2013 23:58

Xpost. Greay minds and all that.

TBH mine didn't settle properly for about a year, they got much smaller then filled out again.

yy to avoiding M&S (bras are fine but fitting is shite).

A year Shock

Smile I'm well versed in mn bra fitting advice and whole heartedly agree. I think I may have lost my G cup and will be back to wee boobs once more - no more bravissimo Sad

If you have previously been a G cup, the chances of you being too small for Bravissimo now are about zero. Even if you have lost all volume and shrunk considerably, the remaining breast tissue will still taken up space in a D+ bra Smile

Take!

idlevice · 22/01/2013 08:32

I was 32G before having DS1 & fed him for more than a year. After about a year I was back to the same size but the shape was slightly different, more droopy unfortunately :(

MotherOfNations · 22/01/2013 09:37

My boobs are positively tiny and I'm a 32E which is the same size as Kelly Brook. My bras fit perfectly so she must be in the wrong size.

SorrelForbes · 22/01/2013 09:40

Wiki has Kelly Brook as a size 8 with a 34E bust. Ha ha ha ha ha.
There is no way Kelly Brook is a 32/34E. I'd say she is more like a 26/28HH.

TheDuckSaysMoo · 22/01/2013 10:54

I was a only a c before I started bf'ing but an now a g. I always liked being relatively small until I got my g's! I've definitely changed shape - and it is not an improvement.

Now wondering if is worth waiting another week or so before having a fitting or if there will be little change in that time.
