hi all, just wondering if you could help???

My baby is 15lb and has gone from 6oz every 4 hrs to 6oz every 3 hrs. do you think it wise to increase milk or stay on 6oz? i have started her on baby rice as advised by HV. she is only 17wks but has very bad reflux, not that its affecting her weight! lol. she has started baby rice today, only had a small spoon full but enjoyed it very much. she is constantly hungry!! please help???

Feeding every four hours is very infrequent and every 3 hours is not a lot either. Baby rice won't do much for her hunger it is empty calories at at 4 months she will be having a growth spurt. The answer is nearly always more milk, more milk and more milk. At the moment my 4mo DD feeds every 90 minutes with 3 hour stretches at night.

Does she drain the 6oz bottles-if so put an extra oz in each one. 3 hourly feeding is fine

Agree with the others, feeding every 3 hours is fine if she's hungry. Baby rice won't do much for her. It has little nutritional value, much less than the milk. It will also fill up her tummy and make her take less milk, which could make her more hungry.

Did the HV check her height and weight and are they in proportion?
