End of breastfeeding :(

Just realised that DD hasn't asked for a feed for ...well as long as I can remember. The last couple she has had have basically been her latching on, couple of very painful sucks and then off to do something else.
So i think it's done. My last baby, weaned.
How can it have gone from something I did for 18 hours a day to something I haven;t actually given any thought to in weeks??

Aw, it's bittersweet when they move on to the next stage. But how lovely that she was able to move on at her own pace :)

How long did you bf for? Give her a big cuddle and yourself a treat as its hard when they move on but nice to see them grow up.

Thanks. She is three. And can apparently read as she has been talking about it all day.
Which is handy as its got rid of the sentimentality and made me realise this is a good thing

Well done for 3 years! My 3 year old still has a quick feed before bedtime, but to be honest I'm really ooking forward to him stopping. Expect I shall feel a bit sad when it is all over though.
