one breast giving more...

Hi,

ds almost 5 weeks and I've noticed that one breast is starting to produce more than the other. I started expressing about 10 days ago, not every day at first but now try to in the mornings. iif I focussed on the one that isn't producing much when expressing will it increase supply there or do I just have wonky boobs?!

One of mine has always produced more than the other. I think it's normal. I've tried expressing on the one that doesn't produce as much but it takes ages whereas it practically flies out of the other! It has increased supply slightly though.
DS seems to feed fine from both though.

Mine too, don't worry about it! Friend of mine fed exclusively from 1 side due to mastitis/lack of supply on other!

Same here, R always has more than L I'm right handed, I wonder if that has anything to do with it?

I'm left handed but my R has always produced more lol!

Same here! L has way more than R (right handed) - had to comment as I was thinking of starting a thread saying the same thing

Same as Bella. DS gets very frustrated with right boob as let down is slow too.

I too am a prolific-right-boob owner, with a slightly faster letdown, cue the choking, spluttering and both of us getting drenched.... He's only 2mths so I'm really hoping it'll settle down a bit soon.

it's my right I thought was producing more - my left doesn't have those little pimples either (can't remember what called!!) - but I expressed yesterday on left and suddenly it was giving same as right so maybe just on catch up! still think right generally the better boob though, tends to be bigger - I'm right handed.
