Title says it all really. I posted on here about 8 months back about problems I was having bf'ing dc2. I had had identical problems with dc1 and having not enjoyed it first time round I had mixed feelings about whether to continue. But I did and I'm so glad I did. Dc1 was slow to put on weight and didnt sleep for months which i though was my fault for not having good enough milk but dc2 is completely opposite - piled on the weight and slept relatively well for a baby. Both dc2 and I really enjoy feeding, and whilst its not without its issues still, I hope to carry on to a year again and maybe longer, work dependent.
It took a lot of gritted teeth, tears and perseverance but it has all been worth it. I remember the mantra from first time round of "never give up on a bad day" and I'm glad I followed it (and there were never any good days until about 6 months....)
Sorry, not sure what I'm hoping to achieve here but I wanted to say it does get better, and more enjoyable. Having been in the depths of feeding induced misery I know how hard it is to keep going at time so hopefully this may encourage someone a little if they're having a rough time
