Fussing during day

Hoping for some advise.
My 7wk old DD is EBF, been doing fine and putting on weight. Last couple of days she's been extremely fussy during day - latching on for a couple of seconds then crying, pulling off and generally unhappy. However she's been fine during evening and night, feeding happily and settling quickly afterwards. Has anyone else experienced this?

Could she have wind?
Might help to take her off the breast when she's fussy and try to gently burp her.

Or, is she overstimulated by lots of noise/lights?

Maybe go somewhere quiet to feed, see if that helps.

Or maybe she just isn't hungry, but instead wants a cuddle and some closeness.

Is hard to know for sure with a wee baby!

I could have written your post, except DD is a bit older...

The only thing that is working for us at the moment is feeding DD immediately after her nap, when she is still calm, and in her room where it is quiet.

This means she only had 2-3 good feeds a day at the moment, but it is better than nothing. She catches up during the night...
