I'm not really one for vitamins but bf my 9.5month dd on demand, working a demanding job blah blah blah so thought i might give them a try as i am quite run down. But they are sooooo expensive. 15.99 for the dual pack. Any cheap alternatives??

Healthy Start vitamins, available from your local children's centre or health centre.

They're the basics of what you really need when PG and when BFing without all the extras added and then charged for. They're 90p for 60 tablets or free if you're in receipt of certain benefits.

Make sure whatever you take has a very high dose of vitamin D3 in it as this easily gets depleted during winter and during breastfeeding. It can make you feel very run down if you get deficient, apparently.
