SMA - constipation

I have been giving my 8 week old SMA since he was born. For the last few weeks he has seemed in discomfort and going days between bowel movements. They are very smelly and dark greenish. I have been told by several people that they have experienced similar with SMA. Does anyone have any advice/experience of this?

Hi my daught er was exactly the same, when i had my son i put him straight on cow and gate and didn't ever have a problem. For me SMA equals a grumpy unhappy baby.Good luck.x

I keep hearing this about sma but My 12 mo DS has been on sma since we switched without problems in fact it's only now we trying to switch to cows milk he's suffering

SMA also made mine constipated. Switched to Aptamil it sorted it overnight.
