How many oz's per feed for 3 month old

Still very new to bottle feeding, since I had to stop breast feeding a few weeks ago.
I just wondered how often and how much a 3 month old should be having per feed. The side of the formula box says he should have 5 6oz feeds per day. During the night ds can drink 6oz in one go, but during the day, he only has 3/4 oz per feed out of the 6oz. I think its because he takes longer to feed during the day, it gets cold, and I think he prefers it warm.

How often and how much does/did your 3 month old have?

it doesnt really matter how mych others have as you should be feeding to your own lo's appetite. The formula box is just a guide and some babies will take more/less than that. At that age mine fed roughly 3 hourly but cant remember how much at each feed. If they drained the bottles I added an ounce to each one. How often is he feeding and what flow teat are you using?

He is feeding approx every 3 hours during the day, and he is on number 2 teats. At night, he has a feed at about 8:00 pm, then has another at about3/4am, then we get him up at 8am.

He's doing well at night then, lucky you. Daytime feeding seems pretty normal too

Thanks dishwasher. I think I've just got into my head that he needs 30oz's per day, but I should just let him decide when and how much he wants.
