Yes, I took for 3 or 4 days. Am feeding a 2.5 year old though!

Thanks. Ds is 6 months and not on solids yet.

There is a risk that your supply will drastically reduce, it just depends whether you are happy with that risk or not. Would you be happy giving formula? Older babies can tide themselves over with a yoghurt or something but at 6mo your milk is his main food source.

As an alternative, those sinus sprays do not affect supply so you might want to give those a go first. There's some info about it here.

it had a dramatic effect on me - in fact i took it to help dry my milk up when i quit feeding

i read up on it - according to Kellymom it can reduce supply by up to 24 %

i totally avoided it whilst feeding and it was the one thing i really did veer away from

can you try steam inhalation/menthol crystals etc?

as Eau says there is a risk your supply will reduce

Would also recommend one of those Neilmed Sinurinse bottle things, I actually find it better than decongestants for degunging if I do it after steaming my head over a basin of hot water.

Right. Got spray and pills.

Will start with spray.

Thanks.
