Growth spurt and too much milk

hi,

Have been lurking on this board for Past few weeks getting lots of good advice but have a question of my own...

Have a 3 week old who has just been through a 2 day growth spurt. I'm demand feeding. Feeding went from every 3-4 hours down to every 45 minutes. Now we are back to 3-4 hours and he's only having short feeds and sleeping lots so I have the most swollen uncomfortable breasts going. Any tips On how to deal with this- I wasn't sure about expressing as I think this would produce more milk but I need some relief!

Keep feeding as normal and it'll settle down. Baby knows what he's doing! Trust him and your body.
