My dd is nearly 9 months and ebf with blw. She has a cold and really blocked nose. Her feeding is virtually nil. She has had a few gulps/sucks in about 24 hours. What can i do???
Shred doesn't eat alot of solids yet and doesn't take a bottle but Will take a sippy cup but also finding that a bit hard.
My boobs are going to burst!!! Shall i express and try a normal cup?
i have tried various sprays and rubs to no avail

i would get her to docs as my DD did this at around 6 months and she had tonsillitis and needed antibiotics. is she alert and eating normally at the moment? if she has nothing to eat or drink for 12 or more hours then i think they advise to go straight to a&e.

if she is alert and otherwise normal i wouldn't worry too much though.

Ye she is alert and normal and smiley just bunged up i think. Proper snotty nose. I have spoon fed her some stuff and she's had some water and some bm but not full feeds

Try bringing her into the bathroom to feed with a really hot shower running - I've found the steam has ungunged little noses when nothing else has worked. Also if you can get/borrow one, having a steam vapourizer running in her room will help. Otherwise: saline nasal sprays (baby Sterimar is good), elevating the top of her cot, Karvol. And there's no harm in trying her with a sippy of EBM.

I feel your pain, this happened to me when DS1 was little and I ended up expressing what felt like several gallons to relieve the pressure.
