Do FF babies need Vit D drops?

Given that it says on the formula tin that it is fortified with Vit D? I read in a book that too much Vit D can be toxic to babies, now I'm confused.

Do those of you exclusively FF give your babies the drops? GP gave me the blanket line that both BF and FF babies need 2 drops a day to 1 year. But surely if its in the formula (or equally, if a bfing mum takes a multivitamin/has good sun exposure) it's not really necessary?

I don't mind giving the drops but logic suggests I could be double-dosing DS if its already in his milk?

Your GP is half right.

Depends on how much formula your baby is getting.
