12 day old breastfeeding habits!

Hi everyone!

Basically I'm just looking for advice on how to get my 12 day old breastfed baby to sleep better at night. He currently sleeps well in the day and has regular feeds but at night he can feed for hours and is comforted by being on my breast so it's hard to get him settled in his basket. Any advice on how to get my baby into some sort of routine where I'm not up and out of bed constantly throughout the night would be greatly appreciated! At the minute he feeds for about 20-30 mins and falls asleep. When I try to put him in his basket he wakes up and wants to go back on the breast!

Finally got lo to have a good sleep but I didn't manage to get any myself! Finally got some sleep at about 10:30 but then lo woke up at 11 for a long feed! I think he may be in the growth spurt stage.. He's feeding like mad and my breasts are making milk like there's no tomorrow lol. They feel okay though but sometimes I get this strong ache in both breasts after a feed even if lo filled up on only one breast. Is this normal? It doesn't hurt during feeds.

i feel for you. i got really stressed in the early days because dh could get dd to sleep and all i got was feedmefeedmefeedme!

but yeah, lying down was hard. it got easier with practice and as she got bigger
