Hi.I still breastfeed my 18 month old son but only from one breast( already about a year) .I ad to stop cos it was very sore but didn't wanted give up totally. He is still eating at daytime and nightime but I think he just wants comfort instead the milk.Especially when he is unwell then he can eat and eat lots.I do try to give him other side but it gets sore.there is hardly any milk in it but I wanted to get the milk up again cos of the difference in size which I hate it but its not working.I just want my both breasts be similar size( I think there is at least 2 cup sizes difference) again and I would like to slowly stop feeding cos now its comes to that, if I am not home in the evening he will wait for me just so I can put him sleep .How can I get this slowly to stop and what will happen with my breasts after? Will they both will get back to normal size or my feeding one will shrink to the other size one?and if I continue breasfeeding how can I get milk back in the other one?

Hi Hun, I would say pop in to children centre to talk to bf specialist. Ours are fantastic here. Ask for one to one appointment and spend some time with her to decide what you want to do. One thing I can say I am still bf but at night only and my boobs got smaller as less milk I think. Good luck, I hope you will find a good advice
