Feeding hourly - help?

Is this a growth spurt? How long will it go on for? Eleven week old DS has fed every hour since 9 am this morning. I am exhausted, boobs are sore, and he's now chatting away and refusing to sleep.

OP, your post reminded me of when DD was little. Every few weeks she would suddenly demand feeding way more frequently. In her case it was a growth spurt, it would last apx 2 days. Always with no warning, and I'd have to drop everything, as it was constant!

You will be feeling worn out and sore, but rest assured it will pass.

Does sound like the 12 week growth spurt to me too. Have things settled down at all?
