My boobs feel bruised

Hiya. I have a 4 week old DS who I am currently breastfeeding despite numerous problems.

Initially he sucked a hole in ny nipple, then we've been treated for thrush, I have suspected raynauds in my nipples and now my breasts feel bruised.

What could the bruised feeling be and how can u fix it. Feeding is still painful at times and I am getting to the end of my tether.

Sorry to hear about your feeding problems. Does the skin on your boobs feel stretched and hard in a certain place? Just wondering if you've got a blocked milk duct. I've had them several times and have found that massaging the area whilst feeding helps, as does putting a warm flannel on your boobs in the bath. Hope that helps and good luck x

Don't want to alarm you but someone described her mastitis to me in these exact words. Probably worth a trip to the GP just in case!
