Quick reassurance needed re leaving 9mo tomorrow

Hi, DS is nearly 9mo and I'm going to a meeting tomorrow at work (due back next year). He's BF and good with solids. He's never really taken a bottle, but I figure by this stage he'll be ok without a BF from 8am - 4pm? He drinks water with meals and eats lots of solids. He'd probably have 2 BF while I'm out - he normally feeds 4 times a day.

I felt confident with this plan to start off with, but I'm now just looking for last minute reassurance!

Can he have formula or ebm from a cup?

My 8mo goes without milk when I'm not around. I do full days a couple of times a month. I think it'll be fine. You could always have a bottle with some ebm or formula just in case but he'll be fine with water and food I'm sure.

he will be ok!! try not to worry. make sure you take your phone just in case and enjoy goin back in if only to come home refreshed and fully appreciative of your little one x

Yes - he can drink from a cup so I'm going to try expressing tonight (first time in ages) to see if I can get some. I presume he'll drink formula as well - I have some cartons in which I make ready brek up with from time to time so there's always that if he gets desperate.

Quick update - he was fine! :)
