MAM bottles

I've just returned to work and my 9mo won't take milk (expressed or formula) from a bottle - either at nursery or with his dad.

He only takes tiny sips of water from his tommee tippee cup at mealtimes, so that won't work for milk either.

The problem with this is that he then wants to feed at night and I'm exhausted!

I've heard good things about mam bottles but I'm so confused as there seem to be loads of different types - anti-colic (guess that is not an issue for him now), trainer, hold me, or a baby bottle - anyone have any ideas on which would be best for this age?

Or does anyone have any other strategies for getting milk into him during the daytime?

Have you tried a 'trainer' cup like this one from Tommee Tippee? It's somewhere half way between a bottle and a sippy cup.

My 13mo still uses the anti colic bottle. He likes the teat on them.

MAM were the only bottles that would agree with him, we have tried them all including Dr Brown (which might be an option for you). Also, DS started using a straw cup at that age and we can't get it off him, he hated the sippy cups.

Nuby do good ones and they do a bottle as well that is meant to liken to BF.

Will he feed before bed? Could you squeeze in as many as possible in the morning and evening?

Yes I try and squeeze in as many feeds as I can but he also wants to feed overnight - for ages! And I am just too tired...
