Dr Brown's or MAM Ultivent?

How do they compare? Do they really reduce wind? How fiddly are they to wash and assemble? The MAM's look simpler to use, but are they as effective?

Am a huge Dr Brown's fan - they were fiddly in the beginning but no more so than any other bottle IMO, but DS only had 3 nights of vague colicy crying that lasted about an hour and am convinced it was because of the bottles. I don't know about the other MAM bottles, maybe other MN's can help you there.

i bought MAMs but only to give ebm at 4 mos. I love these bottles. can't say about colic effectiveness but as baby sucks you can hear the wind escaping.

Dr Browns are very good and helped our transition to the bottle and formula, the teats are nice and soft too as well as the venting mechanism, which, once youve used it is actually no real bother at all.

After discussing a feeding problem with our GP, he said he used Dr Brown for his kids too and was a fan, so that was good enough for me!

At our mothercare, the individual Dr Brown's are buy two get one free at the moment. This works out cheaper than the multipack.

Another vote for Dr Browns here.

Really made a difference to dd with wind.

Will check out mothercare for that offer too.

Nbq - the teats are on offer too - worth looking into.

No offers on the net but am tempted to check out our local store.
Baby isn't due while august but worth getting them early if they are cheaper.
Thanks Smile

You never know if these things are regional or not, but it was only yesterday I bought some at my local store in S20.
