Could My baby's cold harm my supply?

Hi there. If anybody could advise, I'd greatly appreciate it.

My baby is 8 months old and has her first cold. She's very snotty and is a bit off her milk- I think she's finding suckling difficult with having so much snot! we're doing BLW, so I still breastfeed on demand and, to be honest, she usually seems to feed as frequently as she did at 6 months when we first started with solids.

Over the last 48 hours she has fed less frequently and for far shorter bursts, even though I have tried using a nasal aspirator before feeds. What I would like to know is: will my supply be affected, given that she's been ebf for 8 months and do I need to be pumping to keep it up?

At 8 months it shouldn't affect your supply as it will be well established. sparkle I think it should be fine but speak to a BFC on one of the Bfing Helplines.
