Occasional throwing up in 2.5 week old

DS2 is 18 days old. He's not a sicky baby and doesn't posset after feeds.

This morning and on Tuesday night he threw up an entire feed (even through his nostrils!). It was thick, cottage cheese type sick, immediately after a feed.

The first time I cleaned him up, he fed straight afterwards and was fine. This morning he went straight to sleep after being sick (I tried to wake him for a feed, but he was out cold) but when he woke a couple of hours later he had a much bigger feed than usual - 4 sides instead of 1.

He seems to be feeding okay as far as I can tell. He has loads of wet nappies and usually at least 2 big poos per day. He has started to be bothered with burps a bit more in the last couple of days - squirming around a bit till the wind comes up.

It's not anything to worry about, is it?

It sounds perfectly normal to me (i.e. there isn't really a routine or norm at this age). They have a growth spurt about now so taking more milk on is ok.

But if you are worried, talk to your health visitor.
