I stopped feeding my 23 mo ds in Dec 2011 just after his first birthday. He's my 2nd and I didn't stop producing milk between feeding dd 3.7yrs and having ds. Now that we're coming up on ds's second birthday, I'm wondering how to get my boobs to stop producing milk. The slightest manipulation of my nipples means that milk comes out.

How long before it dries up and is there anything I can do to help dry it up?

Oh, that must be annoying Confused. There is a drug called pseudoephredine that a lot of mother have found massively reduces their supply. You can find it in over the counter cold meds, the decongestant ones. That might be worth a go, I'm not sure how long the effects last though, I've known mothers that take it by accident but then carry on BF so it might not be a long-term option.

Also sage tea is meant to help but sounds pretty grim to me.
