avent isis hand pump users - quick question

popsycalindisguise · 29/03/2006 20:12

My hand pump has started becoming annoying. Mid use, the little white disc thingy pops inside of the main unit next to the clear plastic pully up thingy......does that make sense to anyone?

Mean I have to dismantle everything and reassemble.

I use it at least once at day (often more) and have done for over 6 months now.

Anyone had this problem? is it wear and tear?
Do you reckon it is about to die on me?!?

:)

It could mean it's about to die, it might be odd positioning causing an air lock, does it stop with your boob sucked in and then go pop? Mine does that if I'm not paying attention sometimes..

had one that lasted 4 months being used 6 times a day, and this one's lasted being used about that much for 6 months so far....

I'd get a spare just in case!

popsycalindisguise · 29/03/2006 20:16

It tends to happen if i am messing about with positioning, trying to get more ot quicker - if that makes sense.....

Oh no - I really dont want to buy another...am hoping to stop the expressing malarky soon!

I think it's an airlock then, have you tried using the spare white valve? It might be a funny shaped one, one of mine is.

popsycalindisguise · 29/03/2006 20:22

have two valves identical to each other....i use both as they tend to get lost Blush and then refound again at the bottom of the dishwasher Grin

Popsy, why don't you ring the Avent helpline or email them on the site? They usually get back fairly quickly.
