Aptamil vs Hipp Combiotic

Hi,
We're having problems with the Aptamil powder (gets stuck in the teat as it doesn't mix properly even with boiling hot water), so are beginning to look at other makes as the bottles of ready-made are expensive to use long-term, especially as DS gets bigger. Now as he gets 50:50 formula and breastmilk, his poo is still very runny so I'm not too worried about constipation, which I know some of the non-Aptamil formulas can cause. What else do I need to look out for? I know the Combiotic thingy is a new formula change for Hipp - is it a good change? I looked at the ingredients to compare them and there are some differences (although they arrive at about the same nutritionally). Does it matter that Aptamil has fish oils and Hipp doesn't? Our other option is SMA if the Hipp isn't ok - DH liked the fact that Hipp is 'organic' so wanted to try that first.

Don't know sorry but hopefully this will BUMP for you.

I would reckon it depends on which formula your DS likes the taste of. Sorry can't be more help!

Yes let your DS taste and see! DD turned her nose up at hipp organic (came as a substitution in an online shop) - tbh I don't blame her, I tried it and thought it tasted like wet cardboard!

DS switched from Aptamil to Hipp at around 4 months. He suddenly started drinking about twice as much. Could have been coincidence, though.
Doesn't Hipp have fish in it? I'm pretty sure it does. Oh, the formulas are all more or less the same, as they're highly regulated.
I wasn't able to BF, which was a great disappointment, so it made me feel a little bit better that the hipp is organic.
