Ds has just turned 1, and is still bf, but I would like to get him used to drinking a bit of cows milk now and again. I have tried it in his beaker a couple of times but he hasn't seemed that impressed. It occurred to me he might prefer it warmed, but I am not sure as to the best way of warming cows milk for a baby?

Ha - is your title meant to say 'warming cows milk' ? Grin

Just bung it in the microwave for 20 seconds :)

xpost :)

Thanks kekouan, would that just be in his beaker?

just remember to give it a good shake first as liquids warm in a microwave can have hot spots in them.

don't worry if he doesn't take to it DD does like the odd cup of milk but DS still seems to think it not nice at 22 months.

Ha ha or minging cows' milk Smile

Both mine would agree with that, neither of them touch the stuff!

I always give boys 'body temp' milk which I warmed in milk pan, but this does mean a pan to wash up! Not sure why I do it tbh, kust a habit but avoids 'hotspots'.
