OK to have a bath after a feed?

When we were first shown how to bathe DS, now 4 months, we were told not to feed him before his bath, only after, as it would make him vomit. However, I'm looking at ways to try and gently break the feed-to-sleep habit he has and am considering changing his bath-feed-bed routine to feed-bath-bed. Will he vomit, though, or was this just some odd piece of advice that I can forget about or that only applies to very new babies? He's not a vomity baby at all, normally.

I think that's probably a newborn thing. I wouldn't expect a 4 month old to vomit because they have a bath.

No, me neither. On the other hand I wouldn't worry about feeding-to-sleep, either, for at least another couple of months.
