My daughter Is 5 weeks old and has been breast fed throughout, including expressed milk a couple of nights a week so my partner can help with night time feeds. Up until now she has fed well, feeding between 20 - 30 mins a time every 3 - 4 hours. The last couple of days, she still wants food but for only 5 - 10 mins. I am now concerned she isn't getting enough. She is still happy in herself though so I'm a bit confused.

Sounds like now she's a bit bigger and a bit better at feeding, she's getting more in a shorter time and so is satisfied. If you have any concerns talk to your HV but if she is still weeing and pooing lots and seems well in herself I'd assume she's just getting quicker at feeding.

Sounds like she's feeding more efficiently. My DD could empty a breast in 8 minutes at about this age so if she's fine in herself I wouldn't worry.

Like the others have said, she may just be feeding more efficiently now she is older, as long as you are getting enough wet and dirty nappies and she is bright and alert at times, everything should be fine.
