8 months how/when to drop feeds

DS is 8 months and having 4 formula feeds per day approx 7am, 11am, 3pm and 630pm. He eats really well and is putting on weight well.

I don't think he needs four feeds - the first one is the only one he is really that bothered about but which feed do I drop first? 11am he is not that hungry but if he doesn't have milk will he sleep well after lunch ( usually 90 mins)? Or do I drop 3pm but will this make him too hungry at bedtime?

Probably a case of trial and error but suggestions welcome!

Possibly leave the 11am one + then a good early lunch?

He could always have a mid morning snack of a banana or other fruit to sustain him.

You can top up after his lunch then if needed to aid sleep?

I presume you are getting him on to a range of solids now?
