I'm still pregnant, not actually breastfeeding yet, but I thought this might be the best place to ask this question!

Along with copious moles on my chest I seem to have developed a delightful skin tag on the edge of my areola. Thanks hormones. I don't really fancy the idea of it getting sucked off or caught once I start breastfeeding so was thinking of trying to remove it now (I'm 39+3). I've read that tying them off with a piece of thread can work... good idea or not?

Thanks for any advice..

I had similar. More than one in fact! Has not affected breast feeding and two of have actually dropped off since given birth. Id say leave it you dont want to risk any trauma to your boob in advance of feeding!

I'll leave it alone in that case - thanks!

Possibly I was just looking for an excuse to try and remove it - I've been a bit skeeved out by the number of moles that have appeared on my chest. This wasn't one of the more well-publicised pregnancy side-effects..
