How long does milk take to go away?

Hi my DD is 14 mo and gave up bfing about 3 weeks ago. We were on two feeds a day before she gave up.

I'm just wondering how long it will take my milk to dry up so I can go and buy new bras.

Am wondering the same! DD is also 14mo and I gave up just about 2 weeks ago - there's still milk there. But I bought new bras as soon as I cut out the daytime feeds.

I've been wearing underwired bras for ages but the ones I have are a little big in the cup. I don't want to buy new until all of the milk is gone though.

DS is still going at 17mo but I've been back in my 32Bs for longer than I can remember.

Surely they can't go even smaller Shock

How long is a peace of string answer really. Will a well established milk supply it can take months before you completely sip producing milk. When toddlers self wean they can drop a fed for a few Weeks then go back to feeding this is the natural weaning process and milk supply at this stage is not as fragile a it is in the early months.

Mig I had a feeling that may be the story.

Obviously I'm not big with milk, my breasts are very soft, but I think they will shrink more eventually.

Thanks for the help
