Hi - I am mix feeding dc no 3 who is 12 days old. I fed my other 2 for a year and 9 m respectively and would like to do the same with this one.
However feeding on lh breast is spectacularly painful - both letdown and subsequently. I have had the latch checked repeatedly , tried different positions , had breast checked by m-w, tried nipple shields and cream.
Had similar pain with dc2 which ended up lasting 6 weeks or so with bouts of mastitis.
Any suggestions ? Thanks
