Low blood sugar triggers cravings for carby crap like that. Are you eating enough generally?

Or, from another petspective - you have a 3 week old. Set up camp on the sofa with tea and cake and enjoy it :)

I dnt no? I had toast this am with nutella and then a wholemeal roll with ham about 2 pints of water a cup of tea and will have dinner later which will consist of a lot of veg ? Then would love cake in the evening but I don't buy it as I know I will just scoff it all Blush

Scoff away I say! For the first 4 months of ebf I was so hungry I could kill. Then it went back to normal. But never been so hungry in my whole life than those first four months!

I've never eaten so much chocolate as i have in the last 8 weeks since DS was born! I didn't eat any really while pregnant. And I baked flapjack on Thursday and it's all gone now...

Belinda, today is sunday- your flap jack actually lasted that long?! Poor show lol

Cheekychops84 · 26/08/2012 14:30

You're not eating anywhere near enough I say! Your breakfast and lunch would barely keep my 4yo going :)
Add a yoghurt or fruit to breakfast, have flapjack for a snack maybe? Better to eat plenty of decent food than get low blood sugar cravings and ending up eating a whole packet of biscuits.

I used to have 2 lunches when BFing :)

I think that is normal, just don't get into a habit with it and continue when you stop breastfeeding, or you will get huge. Get some good orange juice and stuff in.

Cheekychops84 · 27/08/2012 20:58

I dont eat a huge amount but I'm about 4 stone overweight so can't really afford to go mad. But will keep my fluids up !
