DS is 14mo and now only breastfeeding in the morning and evening, with the occasional pm feed or meltdown calmer during the day. I am very fed up with my 4 existing nursing bras, and I'm not sure they for very well anyway.

I'd like to invest in some new bras but not sure what sort to buy. Pre-DS I favoured underwired bras but I'm not sure whether it's recommended to wear underwired bras while I'm still feeding. Is that right? Should I go for some new nursing ones even though he doesn't feed in the day (given that I'm going to let DS lead the way re weaning so am likely to be doing it until he leaves for uni for the next year or so)?

I've been back in underwired bras for months, since DD2 was about 8 or 9 months old I think. You have to be extra-careful that they are a good fit but you can wear underwired bras. I find plunge styles really handy for BF, you can just pull the cup down a bit.
