Imodium & breastfeeding conflicting advice

GP says absolutely yes, pharmacist says absolutely no. They are both usually spot on! Which is it? I don't like to but it's been 3 days grr!

Here you go, BFN factsheet. It's probably not licensed for BF mothers but that's not the same as it not being safe.

I think loperamide alone is ok (as peer the BFN factsheet) but the one with hydrochloride (i.e. Imodium instants) is possibly not?

However I took the initial dose of Imodium instants, then intended to give DS a bottle so it would be out of my system before I bf him next, but the milk was still frozen so I had to bf him anyway! He showed no ill effects, and I didn't need to take any further doses, so it was all fine.

I had d&v when ds2 was three weeks old
(born by emcs so ow) I took immodium as the least bad option. I.e. as against possible scar rupture. Ds2 was absolutely fine.
