How much EBM to leave for overnight

Me again! Ok, I plan to leave my 17wk baby overnight at the end of this month as we are getting married! I will feed her at 4pm and leave her overnight with the GPs and return by her 10am feed.

Usually she would have a 7pm, 11pm, 7am and possibly a 3am feed during this period.

However, I have NO IDEA how much EBM to leave. When I've given her an expressed bottle before it's usually between 130 and 160ml. This usually satisfies her but perhaps she's feeling those as a 'light meal', and may then get 250ml off the boob on the next feed. I've never given her more than one measured bottle in a row.

I'm not sure how much to leave per feed. I don't want to waste milk and it's hard work pumping enough to leave but I want to make sure she has plenty. What should she be getting over this period do you think?

Hi katie

This calculator on kellymom is a useful tool for how much EBM per feed.

Congratulations on getting married! Thanks
