Mammogram when BF

My OB/GYN would like me to have a routine mammogram since I am 41 and over here, they offer them at 40. I am still BF my 20 month old and would like any info people have on whether it is going to be potentially damaging to breast tissue, and whether it could give a false positive, since I get the impression that they are not normally done on Bf women?
